Delete your account

You don’t need an account to read with Presto. If you made one to sync across devices, you can delete it, and everything stored with it, at any time.

In the app

1. Open Presto and sign in: on the web, on the desktop app, or on iPhone.
2. Go to Settings, then Sync across devices.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

It happens straight away. Your other devices are signed out the next time they connect.

What’s deleted

• Your account and sign-in details.
• Your reading stats, streaks and settings backed up with the account.
• Books, covers and reading positions stored for sync, if library sync was on.
• Sign-ins for the desktop app.

Our database provider keeps recovery copies for up to 30 days, only for restoring after a failure. After that, nothing is left.

What’s kept

Everything already on your devices: your books, reading positions, stats and settings stay there and keep working without an account. To remove them too, delete the books in the app or uninstall it.

Can’t sign in?

Email support@prestoreader.com from the address you signed up with, and we’ll delete the account for you within 30 days.
